Etre apellé par Dieu

Nous parlons beaucoup de l'appel sans savoir veritablement ce que cela signifie. Beaucoup se trompent et pensent que l'apel n'est reservé qu'à une seule catergorie de personne, ou encore qu"Etre apellé, c'est automatiquement devenir un pasteur". Et bien laissez moi vous dire que cela est faux ! 

Etre appelé à servir Dieu ne signifie pas que nous sommes tous destinés à être des pasteurs, mais ce que l’Eternel attends certainement de nous c’est  nous soyons des enseignants: que nous puissions enseigner sa parole partout où nous passerons, qu’à travers nous des vies soient changées, que des gens se convertissent et développent leur intimité avec Christ.

 Ce que l’Eternel attends de ses enfants c’est qu’ils puissent le louer, évangéliser,  peupler le Royaume des cieux, être de vrais adorateurs ainsi que des personnes qui craignent son nom.

Dieu est véritablement entrain de former une armée d’adorateur. Il est entrain de recruter des jeunes gens qui le serviront, qui le connaitront et qui proclameront sincèrement que Jésus Christ est Seigneur. A travers ces jeunes gens, des vies seront changées et la volonté de Dieu serra faite sur la terre comme au ciel.

Là est le véritable appel des jeunes chrétiens.

1. Etre des adorateurs
2  Etre des évangélistes
3. Et faire en sorte que la volonté de Dieu soit faite sur la terre comme au Ciel.

Ceci peut ensuite être fait à travers divers ministères, celons l’appel de chacun :

1. Le pastorat

2. L’apostolat

3. La prophétie 

4. Le doctorat 

5. L’évangélisme

Mais aussi dans divers autre domaines visant à élargir et à affermir le corps du Christ.

Que l’Eternel bénisse tout un chacun et nous aide, à travers le Saint Esprit, à découvrir notre véritable appel en Christ.

If there are times when you...

...Feel even so desperate that You don't want to think about what tomorrow will be like. 

Let me tell you something that the spirit of God always remind me : 

The Lord got my back and will always fight for me no matter what.

The Word of God if full of promises that he always fulfill for those who believe in him and love him with all their heart. The same God who has taken you through 2014 and the years before will always be with you. Be still and knows that you serve a miracle working God. The same God who promised that he will never leave you and nor forsake you will give you rest and transform you into a living testimony.

All you have to do is to trust the Lord with all your heart, be still and know he his God !

Have your way O Lord !

French Article

Les jeunes Chretiens (et surtout les nouveau convertis) ont mainte fois entendu des questions du genre "Qu'est ce qui te prends ?" " Quoi ?Tu comptes etre Pasteur maintenant?" "Qu'est ce qui t'es arrivé?"

Dans mon cas, je reponds souvent que "JESUS EST ARRIVE, et Il a absolument tout changé". Noel est devenu pour moi une occasion de me souvenir de la bonté de l'Eternel à mon egard. Au delà de tout ce que l'on peut demander au pere Noel (ou à ses parents une fois qu'on a decouvert la supercherie) comme cadeau, Dieu m'a accordé l'assurance de la vie Eternelle il y a de cela deux ans déjà. Il m'a accordé son pardon, sa grace et depuis qu'IL est dans ma vie, les portes se sont ouvertes comme jamais au paravant !

Se convertir et accepter Jesus Christ comme son Seigneur et son Sauveur ne signifie pas qu'on deviendra Pasteur. Cela signifie tout simplement que l'on deviendra ce que l'Eternel voudra que l'on devienne et qu'on lui laisse le controle total de notre existance.

En cette periode de festivité, ma priere la plus sincère et qu'une multitute de jeunes comme moi puisse recevoir le cadeau le plus merveilleux qui soit et que Jesus puisse aussi debarquer dans leur vie, naitre dans leur coeur et changer les choses à tout jamais.

Gratefull and Ready to answer questions.

Hello Guys ! YES Christi Christian is still alive lol.

I am alive and a gratefull to the Lord for his mercy, his grace, his love and his protection toward me and my familly. 2014 Wasnt easy ( Isn't it ? ) but when I think about all those people who lost their lives or whent through tuff times during this year all i can do is thank the Lord for being on my side.

That is the reason why I have started a new "challenge". It is quite a simple thing actually: I have to list 365 things which I thank God for. Either miracles in my familly, ealings, blessings, or simply the fact that I am alive, I am sure the list will be quite long. ( I am actually on my 45th point, *Proud of myself*).
 And I would actually like to encourage everybody to take the time to think about the faithfulness and the mercy of God in his life and to write down those 365 things that you will never forget about and that you thank God for.

Keep this book of law always on your lips

When I took the decision that I will follow Jesus till the end of my life, I realised that there were some habits that should be laid aside, and other that I should familiarise myself with. Reading the Bible was one of them.

A lot of people, especially the newly born again, don't always know where to start when opening the Bible. I won't lie... I am one of them ! Even though i love spending time reading the words of God, there are times when i really don't know where to start, which verse I should pick. 

But thanks God, there are a lot of solution to resolve the matter.

First, don't hesitate to ask around you.

We probably all know "this" person who knows all the verses and books that can exist            (i personally find those kind of people amazing). Your Pastor, your parents, your relatives (....)  don't hesitate to ask anyone that you know who is Christian and can help and guide you through Bible studies. Even though I don't know these people, I am sure they won't hesitate to assist you as the first mission of a Christian is to go and make disciple all nations.

Secondly, there are a lot of Bible Studies website. 

The one that i usually read is called TopChretien.com, unfortunately, it's in french but i need to admit that this website has helped me a lot because everyday, it gives a small piece of advice in the form of a text and its followed by a "verse of the day" that can be read during your free time.

There are, however other website of this kind in English. I am currently discovering and testing them. What i love about those websites, it the fact that they make Bible studies interesting. They enable us to discover more about the word of God, through lessons, courses but also quizzes and reflective essays. All you need its only 30 minutes per day and a lot of determination.

There is obviously alot of other website, maybe not specialise in Bible Studies only but which have "Verses of the Day"

And to finish, ask God to guide you. I know it seems a little bit strange to sit there and just ask God which verse you should read today, but trust me it really works. All you need is (yeah i know I'm always saying that i will always do !) Faith ! Yes, Faith that the Lord will guide you through the Holy Spirit. And you know when the Holy Spirit guides you in Bible Study, your always end up findings verses that exactly correspond with what you are looking for.

So now, I think you are ready to open your Bible and let God speak to you trough his amazing word :)

Il est temps de se reconnecter avec Dieu.

Vous êtes vous déjà senti déconnecté de l'Eternelle ? Like... plus de connexion ; prier sans etre réellement concentré, demander à Dieu sans avoir réellement la foi qu'Il exaucera nos prières, le chercher sans avoir l'impression de le trouver ? Je pense que nous avons tous déjà traversé ce genre de moment. 

Mais la vérité est que Dieu n'est jamais bien loin. Ce qui nous donne l'impression qu'il ne nous écoute plus, ou qu'il n'agit plus c'est le diable et toutes ses manigances pour nous décourager et nous submerger de culpabilité. Et pourtant, Dieu est miséricordieux... Si nous sommes capable de revenir à lui et de reconnaître nos fautes, de nous repentir sincèrement, il efface tout et nous offre un nouveau départ. De plus il a promis qu'il serrait avec nous tout les jours de notre vie.

  Alors comment faire pour se reconnecter ???

1. L'invoquer. Dans sa parole, l’Éternel dit Invoque moi et je te répondrais. Je t'annoncerais de grandes choses, des choses cachées, lesquelles tu ne sais point (Jérémie 33.3) Cela veut simplement dire que Dieu est toujours à notre disposition, ce qu'il attends de nous c'est que nous venions à lui, que nous nous approchions de son trône et que nous l'invoquions pour qu'il nous fasse part de la connaissances et des révélations.

2. Passer du temps avec Lui. A travers la parole de Dieu on apprends beaucoup, à travers le jeune et la prière aussi. Oui bien sure à première vue tout ça a l'air d'un vrais défi à premiere vue mais réfléchissez y ; il n'y a pas de grandes réussites ni d'accomplissements sans dure labeur, sans discipline, sans patience. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin c'est d'une Bible, un ou deux petit carnets dans lesquels seront retranscrit les versets sur lesquelles vous aimeriez méditer, ou encore des petites notes personnelles et ainsi qu'un petit horaire consacré à la lecture biblique et à la méditation. De nos jours, les jeunes passent des heures sur leur portables,Facebook, Instagram, ou même à s'amuser avec leurs amis. Mais qu'en est-il de Dieu ? Ne mérite-t-Il pas également un peu de notre temps (autre que les fameux Dimanche), quelques fois par semaines ? Ne mérite-t-Il pas qu'on lui accorde plus que 5 minutes de prière par jour ?

N'oubliez pas également que la prière devrais être considérée comme une conversation avec votre père. Généralement, quand on parle avec son papa, on lui expose nos soucis, nos problèmes et préoccupations, mais on l’écoute aussi. Alors prenez le temps d'écouter Dieu également. Il n'attends pas de nous que nous lui citions une tonne de verset biblique ou que nous lui récitions des poèmes, il voudrait juste qu'on s'approche avec des paroles sincères, qui viennent du fond de notre cœur et que nous le laissions nous transformer.

3. Et bien entendu la foi... Oui toujours la foi. La fois peut déplacer des montagnes dit-on. Et bien c'est vrais ! Ce que la foi fait également, c'est dissiper tout les doutes qui pourraient demeurer en nous quand à l'accomplissement des promessses de Dieu. 

Alors aujourd'hui choisissez d'avoir foi en celui qui renouvelle tout les jours le souffle de vie en vous. Choisissez de croire qu'il a tout accompli à la croix et qu'il agira encore d'avantage pour vous, vos proches, votre famille et tout ce que vous traversez tout simplement si vous le lui demandez.

Even though circumstances or people may makes us feel like we are nothing, or not good enough, God has never made a mistakes by creating us. HE knows why everything happen the way they it does and HE will always make a way for us to shine and access our blessings. 

 This is also the message that Nick Vujicic, an amazing man have choose to transmit 

for the rest of his life. He is a real source of inspiration and this 4 minute video 

will speaks for itself.

Christie Christian is Back !

Hello young Christians, (Oh yeah, I am still alive. Lol. )

It’s been a while I haven't post anything here, but trust me, Christie Christian was always in my heart.

Like 95% of students in South Africa, I am presently going through this horrible stage called exams.

And this just made me think how hard achieving something can be. Yes I know, I am supposed to be positive, but it is a fact: For successful achieve a goal we sometimes needs to go through challenging stages. But as children of God, there are three important foundations that can enable us to be living wonders and successful in everything that we may accomplish.

So let me resume where we are now because, and simply giving you my secrets to achieve successfully everything that one may plane. The key words are:

1.Faith

2.Hard Work

3.Sacrifices

1. Faith involve the ability to always believe that you can make it, that you are more than excellent in what you do, and have been wonderfully created at God's image. How can you fail?!!! And even if you find yourself going through hard time (Which is totally normal and part of life), you have the power to stand up and do much muuuucch better! Don't let anybody tells you that you can't, don't let anything discourage you, you have been wonderfully made, and have faith that you can achieve absolutely anything!

2. Hard work is usually a word that people doesn't like. It is a fact, human doesn't like to work hard, they certainly prefer to get money easily or to be successful without making any effort. But let me tell you something, if you want to achieve something big, something amazing, that people and even yourself will remember, you gotta work hard for it. Even if it involve to sleep less, eat less, read, walk, write a lot, please work hard because at the end of the day you will be the one who will benefice from it. The Bible even encourages us to be excellent in everything that we are doing. It say whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human master (Colossians 3:23). This simply encourage us to always do our best, whatever we have to do, because our blessings will depend on the effort and goodwill that we put in our work.

3.Regarding to the last point, it is actually much more complex. There are some things, people or environment that we may found ourselves in that prevents us for achieving our goals. They are some habits that we have been used to, which don’t allow us to do our best and even lead us to fail. Life is a matter of sacrifices. As much as we work hard and have faith, we must be able to:

- Give up on people who don’t encourage us to excel or are simply considerate as bad influence. Not because we don't love them, but simply because to be excellent in life, we also need to be surrounded by people who have the same vision than us and encourage us through every good plan that we may have. Even if it hurts or if you will be seen as someone disloyal, the fact is that if you walk with someone who doesn't see life the way you do, you will either be delayed or simply be stopped and divert from where you are supposed to go!

- Sacrifice also includes the ability to give up on all the distracting or harmful habit that we have been used to. More easy to say than to do you will tell me. But trust me, when you really want to get rid of something, you will always succeed, and no matter hard it can be.

So beloved, today I challenge you, to apply all those three principles when setting up your next goal and come back here to testify how productive it can be to apply Biblical principles. Because yes, the article may be written by me, but I was just inspired by the Lord to share with you what the God would like us to stick on when having an objective, no matter big or small it could be. Never give up, don't let anybody discourage you or makes you think that you can't realize your dream, because Jesus himself says in Mark 9:23 “Everything is possible for one who believes.". 

God is not a men to lie or to change his mind, therefore, everything HE said about your life will always be realized. So, stick on it, work hard and get ride of everything that could prevent you to access your blessings.

The song of the week

First, I would like to thank everybody who has taken the time to go through the few articles that has been published so far. Your support really touches me and have definitively encourages me to post more articles.

Secondly, I would like to encourage you to feel absolutely free. This is not only my blog, it's also your's. One of my goal through this blog is to create a place where young people can just be themselves and discuss about everything that they are facing, their relationship with GOD and so on. Do not hesitate to post comments, with your name or anonymously. Even if it is a question like "Who is God ?"or "What Am I allow to do and not to do as Young Christian?". Nobody will judge you here. We are all humans, all young and we are all trying to find answers to our everyday's questions and preoccupations. So just feel free.

Thirdly, I would also like to inform you that some articles will be written in French. The reason is that, being french speaker like me, some people visiting this page doesn't understand English. As i would like to accommodate everyone and share my messages with the maximum people as possible, the use of the two languages will be required. Hope u don't mind ;).

 I will be posting a new article very soon, but at the mean time let me share with you my song of the week. Its "Withholding nothing" from William McDowell, and its just a song that I am listening to over and over. It has help me when i was going through moment where i could not find any other help than Jesus Christ. And I am sure that it will touch someone's life today !

Forgive and Forget

"and forgive our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us" (The Lord's Prayer, Mathew 6:12)

Few month ago, i was reading a Magazine and suddenly found this article about forgiveness. I will not try to lie to you, i didn't read it... Why are you talking about it then ?you will certainly ask. Well, first of all the main reason why i did not read the article is because, deep inside me, I knew that I was a person who does not easily forgive. The worst thing in all that is that I was even proud to say "Oh you know, i don't easily forgive people huh ! If you mess up once don't even expect a second chance with me !". The second reason is that I did not want this part of me to change. But, in his mercy and unconditional love, God have recently grant me the grace to understand how forgiveness can change our lives and naturally, I couldn't keep this understanding for myself, i had to share it.



In today's life, there is a lot of Biblical principles that are hard to follow. The "forgiving" part is one of them. In the Scriptures, i have found a lot of verse where God is encouraging us to forgive one other's mistakes and behavior. In one of them, it is even about forgiving 70*7 times ! Or something like that.
Okay, we are human, and on top of that we are young people. Therefore, forgiving 490 times (or even 3 times, sometimes) is not one of the first option that we will think about when faced to issues like treason, disloyalty, deceptions, and so one. 

But GOD HIMSELF wants us to forgive ! Why ?

1. Forgiveness open doors + A place in the Kingdom of Heaven (BONUS !)
2. Forgiveness is good for your health
3. Everybody make mistakes


In the Lord's Prayer, it is clearly written that we are asking God to forgive us, as we forgive others. The forgiveness of God open doors, it cleans us, make us free from any guilt and any condemnation. And one of the condition to access the blessing that God have prepared for us is to release people that we kept in our heart after a deception. Nobody said that it's an easy process but it is worth it. And it's either you release your heart from that anger and allow yourself to feel free and to receive what God had planed for you or you just let the anger consume you. 

This lead us in our second point : Forgive people, you will live much longer and look more younger. When you keep anger in your heart and you don't allow yourself to forgive and forget, it doesn't only close the door of success and blessing, It consumes you from the inside out. In such situation, the one who is suffering the most is not the person who commited the fault, but the one who can't see forgiveness as an option. And THAT is something that you can't allow yourself to do. Don't stress yourself, forgive and forget.

And to conclude, i just want to remind all of us, and even myself that we are just human beings. Everyday we commit mistakes and hurt people. It can happen to anybody. And in such situation, all we need is compassion and understanding from others. So why shouldn't we, as human and Christians, just do for our neighbor what we would like him to do for us ?


+++An action for today : Rather than judging people who hurts you and immediately categorize them as #PublicEnnemyN°1, please, allow yourself to be patient and comprehensible. Ask God for strength to forgive and to understand what leads the person to behave in such manner. Ask for wisdom, ask for love and ask God to touch the person, in order for him not to commit the same mistake.

And, I believe THAT is exactly how The Lord wants us to behave with one another ; forgive and forget.

Let's Go to the Camp !

Who Said that being young and Christian 

could be boring?! Certainly not Us!

This year, the Youth Camp organized by Bethlehem Bible Church has fulfilled our expectation and even more. It really had been a pleasure to be united for few days, fare from our daily routine and all those stressful things that we have to think about.

For this second edition, the camp was taking place in the concession of Lagos Church, based in Brackenfell. It is with warm welcome that we have been given the privilege to spend 3 days in an amazing area surrounded by threes and fresh air. By the way, it has reminded me a lot of camps in the middle of the forest that we usually see in movies or cartoons.

Prayers, songs, dance, workshop, laughs, fun in the pool have been part of those 3 days.

Additionally to that, the Camp was an amazing experience. The theme, “New Rule of Love Sex and Dating” have inspired most of the young people present. Indeed, like me, people who were behind the organization judged important that we should find out what the Bible says about those 3 points, what as young Christian, should be our decisions, when we are confronted to that. This topic, which will be developed in a future post, was certainly one of the most important that have to be thought to a youth.

Everyone went out of this Christian Camp with good memories, new friends and the assurance to be a blessing for all the people around us.

Let us start  that day with a great breakfast !

Chapter One, Prologue

I am Christelle, I am Nineteen, And I am Born Again.

“Born Again?!”  some people will curiously ask. What does it exactly mean? What does it imply? Did this girl return in her mother’s womb and became alive a second time?

Well, some of those questions, or even more are a perfect examples of what people ask me when I present myself. This is probably what you will ask yourself while reading this. The answer is simple. Well… let’s say theoretically simple. But even though it is simple, it requires few explanations, some researches, and numerous testimonies. It also requires patience, and curiosity for you to discover and to understand how amazing it can be to be born again! Especially for a youth… Like me… Like you.

So are you curious?

 Are you patient?

 Do you want to discover how it is to be born again?

Or maybe be, do you want to know how I have been born again?
